Motorcyclist Walks Away From Horrific Crash
By Jason Linetsky

Photo by Lloyd Mitchell Photo by Lloyd Mitchell A motorcyclist is very fortunate to be alive after he hit a pole along the Belt Parkway. On Tuesday, August 8th, shortly after 5:30 p.m., he was driving from Pennsylvania Avenue onto the eastbound lane of the busy highway when he ended up veering onto the shoulder and hitting a pole. The impact tore the front of the motorcycle off and flung the driver to the ground. It is unclear if he lost control of his bike or swerved out of the way of something. He sustained injuries but none were apparently life threatening.
