What's Your Opinion?

Compiled by
Stacy Smith

Question: With all the recent media chatter about the Russians manipulating our U.S. presidential election last November, in hindsight, do you feel that your vote was influenced by the Russians in any way?

“No, not at all. I based my vote on which individual will try to do what’s best for the country. I am not influenced by others. I make my own decisions based on what I believe in.”

Caleb Pearson, Marine Park

“I chose who I felt was the best fit regardless of what others had to say. I voted for who I want to vote for. Nobody can change my mind. Everybody is going to have different opinions.”

Joyce S., Richmond Hills, Queens

“I don’t think so because we have enough safeguards in our government to prevent something like this from happening. The media didn’t change my mind on who I voted for.”

Migdalai Rosario, Georgetown

“I am aware of what was going on and because of it, I chose not to vote. This country is full of politicians making promises and not keeping them. I don’t want no part of it.”

Rosa Delgado, Bushwick
