PSST...Guess What? Library Program Turns 40!

The pre-school story time (PSST) program at Jamaica Bay Library turned 40 years old on Tuesday, July 16th. Branch manager Mel Hinkle commemorated the event held at the library, 9727 Seaview Avenue, by reading one HOT summer day, Meeow and the little chairs and Subway Ride. The kids also enjoyed Hinkle’s renditions of nursery rhyme classics such as The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round, Where is Thumbkin? and everyone’s favorite the Hokey Pokey. Who says reading isn’t cool?
