Bank Robber Wanted



The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance identifying a man wanted for a bank robbery and an attempted bank robbery in the confines of the 63rd and 104th Precincts. In both incidents, the suspect passed a note and demanded money from the teller. Police did not confirm whether or not he was armed. The first robbery took place on March 22nd at the Popular Community Bank, 2095 Ralph Avenue, wherein the suspect got away with $1,340. The most recent incident – during which the suspect only attempted the robbery – took place on June 17th in an establishment at 59-01 Myrtle Avenue, Queens. Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call 1-800- 577-TIPS.
