Musical Skills Showcased At P.S. 279 Talent Show

“The Fiddlers” – Tanashia Thorpe, Leasia Earth and Barryton Foster – perform Lightly Row. “The Fiddlers” – Tanashia Thorpe, Leasia Earth and Barryton Foster – perform Lightly Row. Students from P.S. 279, The Herman Schreiber School, danced, rapped, sang, and performed piano and violin solos at their third and final fundraiser of the school year last Friday night. Talented children from all grades at the East 104th Street school performed to the cheers of a packed audience.

Money generated from “P.S. 279’s Got Talent! Student Council Fundraiser” will go toward funding the school’s carnival, which will take place on June 16th. Additional funds will be used for a new scoreboard in the gym.
