“I feel that President Obama is catering to the oil companies. They do whatever they want just for the money. That won’t sustain economic growth.” –Evelyn Herrera, The Bronx “I feel that President Obama is catering to the oil companies. They do whatever they want just for the money. “I think it’s a good idea to explore other energy sources. But I don’t know how realistic it is to expect America to become energy independent.” –Anuj Saxena, Manhattan “I think it’s a good idea to explore other energy sources. “It’s good for the fact that we need to be less dependent on other countries for oil. But then again, any off shore oil drilling is bad for the enviornment.” –Eric Nieves, Canarsie “It’s good for the fact that we need to be less dependent on other countries for oil. “I would be for the drilling. But a stipend should be put aside in case there is an accident. So you won’t have to burden the taxpayers at that time.” –Vaughan Gilmore, Bedford Stuyvesant “I would be for the drilling. But a stipend should be put aside in case there is an accident.
