What's Your Opinion?

QUESTION: AFTER THE FORT HOOD INCIDENT, DO YOU THINK THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD KEEP A CLOSER EYE ON ALL MUSLIM SOLDIERS OR WOULD THAT BE CONSIDERED RACIAL PROFILING? WHY?
Compiled by Bill O’Neill

“No, they shouldn’t keep a closer eye on all Muslim soldiers,
because that was just an isolated incident by one person.
And all Muslims shouldn’t get a bad reputation for
what one person did.”
–Saleh Ali, Canarsie“No, they shouldn’t keep a closer eye on all Muslim soldiers, because that was just an isolated incident by one person. And all Muslims shouldn’t get a bad reputation for what one person did.” –Saleh Ali, Canarsie
“I don’t think they should just single out Muslim soldiers,
because in fact anybody could be part of a terrorist
plot. It’s not just Muslims.”
–Hassan Mendoza, Spring Creek“I don’t think they should just single out Muslim soldiers, because in fact anybody could be part of a terrorist plot. It’s not just Muslims.” –Hassan Mendoza, Spring Creek
“I think it’s racial profiling. It’s racist. Next thing the
government is going to start pulling people over just
because they are wearing a turban.”
–Jillian Holloway, Canarsie“I think it’s racial profiling. It’s racist. Next thing the government is going to start pulling people over just because they are wearing a turban.” –Jillian Holloway, Canarsie
“I think the U.S. should definitely keep a closer eye on all
soldiers, not just Muslims, because right now the U.S. is not
scrutinizing the backgrounds of soldiers. They are just letting
them through.”
–Andrew Sheard, Crown Heights“I think the U.S. should definitely keep a closer eye on all soldiers, not just Muslims, because right now the U.S. is not scrutinizing the backgrounds of soldiers. They are just letting them through.” –Andrew Sheard, Crown Heights
