'DUMB FLY OVER" VISITS US, TOO!
Don't worry — this is a joke! Unlike the reality of the backup presidential jumbo jet and two F-16 fighters flying over Ground Zero on Monday that panicked residents and commuters in lower Manhattan, who flashed back to September 11, 2001, just to snap a few publicity photos, we decided to demonstrate how easily they could have saved time and $350,000 of taxpayer money by using a widely-known computer program called Photoshop. The Courier's production and editorial teams combined their creative imaginations to come up with a photo of the Air Force One backup embedded into one of our archival Canarsie Pier pictures. And, viola, the jet appears to be passing over our neck of the woods, too.
