COPS PROBE SHOOTING IN THE PAERDEGATS

While walking with his girlfriend in the Paerdegat section early Sunday, a 33-year-old Canarsie resident was punched, kicked, shot once in the back and robbed, police said. The victim was taken to the hospital where doctors said his injuries were not life threatening.
