Canarsie Nurse Lobbies Her Cause With Assemblyman Maisel
Assemblyman Alan Maisel recently had the opportunity to meet in Albany with Angela Okike, left, a Canarsie resident and registered nurse, to discuss issues relating to the nursing profession. Okike, a member of the New York State Nurses Association, came to Albany, along with hundreds of her colleagues on Lobby Day, to bring their concerns to the attention of the Legislature.
