Lou Gets His Due

It's taken a long time for the Veterans Administration and other agencies to recognize the contribution Canarsien Lou Schlamowitz gave to our country when he served overseas during the Korean Conflict in the 1950s. He received a medical, honorable discharge at the time and recently he was officially granted all benefits that are due to him as a U.S. Army veteran. Above, Lou proudly holds up certificate from the Disabled American Veterans attesting to his valuable service to the nation. Congratulations, Lou! Charles Rogers
