Question: A queens city councilman has suggested that drivers should get free parking at street meters and municipal lots for buying hybrid cars? Do you agree or disagree? Why?
 | | "I don't agree because only people who can afford hybrid cars will benefit from this new rule. Some of us are forced for economic reasons to drive less expensive cars."
- David Faulkner, Canarsie |
|
 | | "I agree. Hybrid cars shouldn't pay, because they are better for the environment. Also, they are smaller and create less of a parking problem. Everybody else should pay at street meters."
- Jay Burgos, Canarsie |
|
 | | "I agree with the Queens City Councilman. Hybrid cars make the environment safer - and in return, hybrid car owners get free parking."
- Maria Singh, Canarsie |
|
 | | "No, I disagree with giving free parking to hybrid cars, because free parking is too valuable to just give away, especially in New York City. Give hybrid car owners another incentive like a tax break or something."
