Enter Essay Contest For Chance To Go To Summer Camp For Free

Are you interested in the outdoors? Have you always dreamed about spending a week backpacking, hiking and canoeing, all while being surrounded by the sites and sounds of beautiful New York State? Well here is a chance for boys and girls ages 12-14.

Assemblyman Alan Maisel, along with the New York Department of Environmental Conservation, is looking for someone to sponsor for a FREE WEEK of fun and learning in the great outdoors.

All you have to do is write an essay and submit it and you could be the lucky recipient of this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Rules:

1. Submit a 250-350 word, typed essay, double spaced.

2. All essays will be evaluated on content and grammar.

3. Essays will not be returned.

The essay should be on ONE of the following topics:

•Chemical and Pollution Control

•Recycling and Composting (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle)

•Energy and the Climate
