Canarsie's Genesis Pythian Lodge Installs Legislator
New Pythian member Martin Levin, left, and State Assemblyman Alan Maisel, right, flank Assemblyman Alec Brook-Krasny, who recently became a member of Genesis Knights of Pythias Lodge No. 64, which meets at Temple Emanu-El of Canarsie at 1880 Rockaway Parkway. Genesis Lodge is one of the largest and most active Pythian lodges, with over 1,200 active participants. Brook-Krasny said he is proud to join with his colleague Assemblyman Maisel in fostering the charity and benevolence attributed to the movement, along with its fraternal and social activities.
