Precinct Issues Warnings For Shoppers During Holiday Season
      With the holidays rapidly approaching, officials with the 69th Precinct encourage the community to get involved and take part in the various activities this month. Fire Routs Flatlands Ave. Family From Their Home
      One firefighter was slightly injured and a family was left homeless last Friday afternoon when a fire gutted their Flatlands Avenue home, authorities said. According to Fire Department spokesman Firefighter Eric Bartley, the fire erupted in a second floor apartment of the brick attached house near East 39th Street. "At this time," Bartley said, "the cause of the fire is not suspicious.

Seniors Are Served
      Abe Stark Senior Center members were treated to an early Thanksgiving dinner at its 103-15 Farragut Road facility on November 20. Scores of local residents attended the large feast and Millennium Development Corporation, which sponsors the Center, also provided the main course and all the trimmings.

Hundreds Enjoy Four Seasons Thanksgiving Feast
      The Four Seasons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center hosted its annual traditional Thanksgiving luncheon on Tuesday, November 25 for over 300 guests, including residents and members of their families.
