REWARD OFFERED IN SUMMER ROBBERY
NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Public Information Paul Browne has announced there is a reward being of-fered for the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for robbing a pharmacy here last June 25 at knifepoint.
In conjunction with Crime Stoppers, the agency that handles rewards and other follow-up crime information, up to $2,000 in cash will be paid in this case. The money will be given anonymously through a code number.
According to Police Officer Doris Otero, a spokesperson for Commissioner Browne, the robbery took place in the Glenwood Pharmacy, 1665 Ralph Ave-nue, shortly after 4 p.m. on a Wed-nesday afternoon when the thief — apparently working alone — entered the store and threatened a 35-year-old female worker by wielding a 12-inch knife and harassing her with it. He then demanded she give him money from the cash register and safe and, after being given approximately $4,800, left the store on foot.
Anyone with information can call the 69th Precinct Detective Squad at (718) 257-6215 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. Callers regarding the case should refer to Crime Stop-pers Poster Number BK1333. All calls will be kept strictly confidential.

The incident involves the shooting of a man near the corner of Flatlands Avenue and East 88th Street at about 5:30 a.m. Apparently the victim staggered and fell to the ground in front of a store at 8823 Flatlands Avenue.
