REWARD OFFERED IN SUMMER ROBBERY

Glenwood Pharmacy, across from Glenwood Houses project. Charles Rogers NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Public Information Paul Browne has announced there is a reward being of-fered for the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for robbing a pharmacy here last June 25 at knifepoint.
In conjunction with Crime Stoppers, the agency that handles rewards and other follow-up crime information, up to $2,000 in cash will be paid in this case. The money will be given anonymously through a code number.
According to Police Officer Doris Otero, a spokesperson for Commissioner Browne, the robbery took place in the Glenwood Pharmacy, 1665 Ralph Ave-nue, shortly after 4 p.m. on a Wed-nesday afternoon when the thief — apparently working alone — entered the store and threatened a 35-year-old female worker by wielding a 12-inch knife and harassing her with it. He then demanded she give him money from the cash register and safe and, after being given approximately $4,800, left the store on foot.

Crime Stoppers and the NYPD are still waiting for responses to a reward poster issued recently regarding the shooting of a man on Flatlands Avenue last March 30. As in the case of the above summer robbery, a reward of $2,000 is being offered.
The incident involves the shooting of a man near the corner of Flatlands Avenue and East 88th Street at about 5:30 a.m. Apparently the victim staggered and fell to the ground in front of a store at 8823 Flatlands Avenue.
No other details on the case have been released at this time except the Crime Stoppers identification number: BK 1277.
