What's Your Opinion?

Compiled by Bill O'Neill

Question: With gas prices continuing to rise, do you think the government should start more offshore and wilderness drilling for oil and gas for the short term, or would that hurt the environment in the long run?

"If it's not going to hurt the environment, I think yes, in the short term. Maybe if it lowers the prices in the next six months or a year from now. But in the long term, they have to build up technology, solar, electric cars."

If they lower the prices, that's a beautiful thing. There's been a ban on drilling. But it'll be definitely beneficial if they lift the ban."
