Queens Cricketers Win 2nd Mayor's Cup Championship
      West Indies and Guyana batsman Narsingh Deonarine slammed a stunning half century to give the borough of Queens the championship once again, as the second annual Mayor's Cup Cricket competition concluded at Gateway Cricket Ground at Spring Creek Park on Saturday.

Cyclones Staff Pitches In For Charity With 24-Hour Marathon
      NEW YORK (AP) The team's season hasn't even started yet, but Brooklyn Cyclones staffers have already played 12 games - in 24 hours. Members of the minor league baseball squad's staff played a nonstop marathon over the weekend to raise money for charity, finishing around noon Saturday as temperatures soared to the 80s near their Coney Island ballpark.
