Question: A queens city councilman has suggested that drivers should get free parking at street meters and municipal lots for buying hybrid cars? Do you agree or disagree? Why?

"I don't agree because only people who can afford hybrid cars will benefit from this new rule. Some of us are forced for economic reasons to drive less expensive cars."

- Maria Singh, Canarsie"I agree with the Queens City Councilman. Hybrid cars make the environment safer - and in return, hybrid car owners get free parking." - Maria Singh, Canarsie"No, I disagree with giving free parking to hybrid cars, because free parking is too valuable to just give away, especially in New York City. Give hybrid car owners another incentive like a tax break or something."
