Next Tuesday Is Primary Day

The New York City Voter Assistance Commission issued the following letter this week:

Dear Fellow New Yorkers:

On Tuesday, February 5, all eligible New Yorkers are encouraged to participate in the Presidential Primary Election in New York City. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

To determine eligibility, or to find your poll site call 1-866-NYC-VOTE or visit http://www.vote.nyc.ny.us/ On February 5th New Yorkers wishing to vote on a Ballot Marking Device (BMD), a fully accessible voting machine used to help all voters, including those with disabilities, mark a paper ballot, may go to the City Board of Election borough office in their borough of residence.

To hold a 2008 nonpartisan voter registration drive in your neighborhood, call 311 or visit www.nyc.gov/voter . This message is brought to you by the NYC Voter Assistance Commission.
