Question: The Department of education has distributed reward money between $4,000-$120,000 to the 134 schools throughout the city that recorded an "A" grade on their report cards. How do you think that money should be spent?

"I think they should put it towards funding for the sports program. Put it towards the teachers - maybe increase their salaries. Also, buy new books and supplies."

Give kids an opportunity to do what they want to do rather than just follow the daily curriculum."

That's not fair. All the kids, whether their school got an A, B, C or D grade are entitled to a better education. And that money should be used for books and supplies, health classes and to prepare students to move onto their next level of education."
