100 Years Young

Congratulations to Louisa Veronica Milano, who is truly blessed to have attained the golden age of 100 on November 9. She was born on the beautiful island of Trinidad & Tobago in 1907 and was the oldest of six children, of which she is the only survivor. In 1995, Louisa migrated to the United States and lived in Canarsie with her daughter Linda, her only child. Friends and family say she is not only a caring and loving person, but that she touches everyone she meets with the warmth and sincerity of her love. A devout member of the Beulah Temple Seventh Day Adventist Church at 102-01 Seaview Avenue, her Christian faith has been the pillow of her life and has enabled her to successfully cope with the vicissitudes of life. The centenarian proclaims her longevity is primarily due to her faithful acceptance of the Seventh-day Adventist health message, with embraces the Biblical message: "Your body is the temple of God." Her family, friends and the congregation join in wishing Louisa Veronica Millano God's continued blessing as she continues along her Christian journey. Above, the happy lady is seen with Beulah Temple Pastor Corbin Crew.
