No Garbage Collection On Monday

The New York City Department of Sanitation announced there will be no garbage and recycling collection on Monday, October 8, Columbus Day.

Residents who normally receive Monday garbage collection should place their trash at curbside Monday after 4 p.m. for pickup.

Residences and commercial establishments that unlawfully leave trash at curbsuide over holidays are subject to a fine of up to $250.
