Local Residents Partake Of Sen. Sampson's Free Mammograms

For more than four hours Monday morning, more than a dozen women showed up at State Senator John Sampson's Flatlands Avenue office to get free mammograms on a mobile medical van parked out front. The gratis exams, in conjunction with the Women's Outreach Program, offered free screenings to women over 40. Though in Albany, the senator,who represents Canarsie and surrounding communities, noted that since he was elected more than a decade ago he continually offers critical complimentary medical exams to constituents whenever possible.
