Last Saturday started out to be rainy with ominous, dark clouds, but, suddenly, at about 11 a.m., the clouds parted in plenty of time for everyone to enjoy the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the beautiful, new MeadowWood At Gateway Condos at 122-05 Flatlands Avenue.
On hand for the event were Borough President Marty Markowitz, State Senator John Sampson and a bevy of other dignitaries, all lauding the condo development as being something very special for Brooklyn.
Of course, the festive day featured fun and rides for the kids, plus a beautiful barbeque lunch for all!

In commenting about the newly-refurbished condos, Fillmore Real Estate's Jean Paul Ho, who is director of sales for the property, said, "Meadow-Wood represents an exciting opportunity for families that may have thought they were forever priced out of home ownership in a quality neighborhood. We're looking forward to helping these people realize their dreams."
"This is an excellent chance," Ho added, "for current and future residents to build equity for now and for the future."
Some of the refurbishment included replacement of all 8,371 windows; 1,146 balcony doors, remodeled lobbies and enhanced security, as well as new elevators, renovated laundry rooms, landscaping improvements and security cameras.
