What's Your Opinion?
Compiled by Bill O'Neill

Question: A federal judge has ruled that the city can't force fast food restaurants to list caloric contents on menus. Do you think they should post nutritional information? Why?

"They should post that nutritional information. It's valuable. A lot of kids are obese or fat in a way. If the kids don't know what they are eating, then the parents should know. And, in general, people should be aware of what they are eating." - Malik Williams, Canarsie
"For me, it doesn't really matter. If you want something to eat, you're going to buy it regardless of what's on the menu - just to satisfy your appetite. But some people do have to be cautious about what they eat." - Max Zamor, Flatbush
"Of course, because some people are on a diet. They are trying to watch their weight. They have to know what they are eating. Some people have a strict calorie count." - Michael Hart, Canarsie
"If you want nutritional information, you can request it. It should be available, but not directly on the menu. It's too much information. Not everybody wants to know nutritional information." - Christina Emeh, Mill Basin
