69th Precinct Remembers City's Darkest Day

In a touching ceremony at the 69th Precinct on Tuesday, rank and file officers, detectives and administrative officials paused to remember those who died during the World Trade Center attack, especially the 23 NYPD officers. Captain Ralph Monteforte addressed each contingent of officers as they came on duty and the names of the deceased officers were read.
A miniature replica of the Twin Towers was exhibited during the ceremony.
