Mail On Wheels

It may be true that "neither rain nor snow nor dark of night stays our United States Postal Service couriers from their appointed rounds..." BUT, as it turned out, this week the computers in the Canarsie station broke down, giving proper reason for officials to call on their Post Office On Wheels to rescue them with stamps and traveling tellers. If things continue this way, it won't be long until we're using Pony Express. Charles Rogers
