Precinct Crime Stats Are Among Lowest Citywide

      While the city in general is boasting of statistics released this month that show crime is down from last year by a healthy 6.74 percent, stats for the 69th Precinct, which covers Canarsie, shows a drop in general crime to a whopping 17 percent lower than last year.
