Woman Of Accomplishment

Canarsie civic leader Josephine Bolus, who is a governing board member of the City Health and Hospitals Corporation, recently received the 2007 President's Award for Distinguished Lead-ership. Mrs. Bolus is president of the Brooklyn Canarsie Lions Club; a member of the 69th Precinct Community Council; a member of New York State House of Delegates of the American Nurse Association; and a member of the board of the Brooklyn College Alumni Association, among other duties. Mrs. Bolus serves on the HHC board as the City Council designee for Brooklyn. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science from Brooklyn College and a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University.
