Turn Down The Noise!

Last night, July 25,2007 a concert was given in the park near 2065 Rockaway Parkway. It was loud and disturbing and certainly a quality of life issue. For two hours they praised the Lord with their loud music. After calling 311 and the Housing police, I learned this was approved by NYCHA.

I have lived in BayView for 44 years, and it's enough that we put up with loud music from various apartments, defecating and urinating in elevators, fornicating in hallways and stairwells and the selling of illegal substances. Now we have approval! I hope you did not cover this crime and applaud its virtue.
