Diversity Marks First MedCare's Annual Family Health Fair

Blood pressure screening was one of the highlights of the event.
The side yard of First MedCare at 8707 Flatlands Avenue was crowded last Sunday as the health care facility held its Annual Family Health Fair.

Highlighting everything from blood pressure screening to dental health tips, the exciting event also featured a live D.J., free gifts, raffles for the kids, a clown, face painting and a variety of activities, not the least of which was a demonstration by some of the firefighters from the local FDNY Bravest units.

Information on vaccines for adults and children, plus diabetes and cholesterol info was also available.

Many exhibitors were on hand and demonstrated the diversity of the activities at the Health Fair , as well as the many features at First MedCare.

Large crowd spilled out to Flatlands Avenue and East 87th Street.
