question: The MTA says talks are progressing to have cell phone service available on platforms throughout its system. Would you be glad to see accessible cell phone service on subway stations or does it not matter to you because you will still use your personal phone? Briefly explain.

"I'm glad to see the subway system have it. It's very important to be able to make calls. You never know when an emergency might come, especially in New York City." - Iftikhar Ahmad, Canarsie
"I think it's a good idea in case of some kind of emergency. You get sick - or there is a police or urgent matter. The negative side of it is that people might be impolite - talk loud or invade your space. But the positives outweigh the negatives." - David Green, Canarsie
"I'm glad to see transit looking to get cell phone service underground. If there is an emergency, everybody needs to let people above ground know what's going on underground. It's a big convenience to have use of the cell phone." - Adrienne Crosland, Canarsie
"Yeah. I'm glad. It's a good thing to have cell phone usage in the subway. People can contact other people. It improves communication. It's good to have if there's any trouble, of course. If you can't get to a phone, you already have one." - Lester Anderson, Canarsie
