A Look Into The Future At Region 6 Tech Expo 2007

Students from various schools in Region 6 set up their paraphernalia in I.S. 252 last week, showing proper pride in their presentations.
Talk about impressive! Scores of visitors to the Region 6 Tech Expo 2007 at I.S. 252 on Wednesday, June 13 couldn't stop talking about the wonderful projects on display and being demonstrated - all created by the Region 6 pupils.

The "dynamic" students, given that title by Region 6 Instructional Technology Specialist Valrie Edwards, exhibited everything from iPods to claymation to iMovie/Movie Maker, displaying blogs, Internet and even a project called "Garage Band." Those who have a tendency towards the technical were ecstatic and those who usually just stand by and watch were "fascinated," they said.

As Ms. Edwards said, "This was a time for the Region 6 students to shine!" Photos by Sonny Maxon
