Career Day Success At P.S. 115

The recent annual Career Day Symposium at P.S. 115 attracted a wide range of professionals, who talked to students about vocations they may decide to pursue as they get older. Among the professionals present were: U.S. Army recruiters, police officers, a firefighter, teachers, an electrical engineer, a law professor, a few lawyers, a retired principal, a chef, an accountant, guidance counselors, teachers, two U.S. Secret Service agents and a representative of the Fourth Estate- a Courier associate editor. Principal Mitch Pinsky said the May 31 event was "a unique and enriching experience...that generated some terrific activity" and resulted in lots of positive feedback from students.
