Winthrop I.S. 232 students from various grades last week held a "Medical Science Program" that went far beyond your average neighborhood health fair, as they showed their expertise on a number of health issues.

The excellent program was held on Saturday, May 26 and saw the youngsters focusing on getting valuable experience on subjects ranging from heart disease to angina pectoris, unhealthy eating habits, sedentary lifestyles and even public speaking.

And during the intermission, the Grade Six Steppers provided an exciting performance for the receptive audience.

Afterwards the young medical experts received special awards and certificates for their efforts.
