Cops Release Sketch Of Suspect In Killing Of Marine Park Man
By Charles Rogers

Police want you to call them if you see this man.

Brooklyn Homicide Squad detectives have released a sketch of a man they say allegedly robbed and assaulted a Marine Park resident on May 1.

The victim, Mohammad Ahmad, 40, was left for dead after being brutally beaten on the head with a bottle but witnesses called police and Emer-gency Medical Service units and he was rush-ed to the hospital, according to a representative of NYPD De-puty Commis-sioner Paul Browne.

The victim died on May 14 after lying in a coma for two weeks.

Through witnesses to the beating, which took place at the B & W Deli on Flatbush Avenue, the composite sketch was drawn by detectives. The suspect is described as black, about six feet, to six-feet, two inches tall. He weighs approximately 220 pounds and has a muscular build. At the time of the robbery-assault, he was wearing a light blue, long-sleeve shirt, jeans and white sneakers. He also wore a white doo-rag, and had a gold earring with the likeness of Christ's head, with thorns on it.

Anyone who has seen this man is asked to call the 63rd Precinct De-tective Squad at (718) 258-4401 or Crime Stop-pers at 1-800-577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
