Question: There's been a lot of debate in the last year concerning overdevelopment in many Brooklyn neighborhoods. Do you think there should be more, less or no further development in Canarsie? Why?
 | | "I don't think they are overdeveloping. I know that some people are trying to build but didn't get approval. There's a lot of people moving in. There should be more construction."
- Vincent Gargano, Canarsie

 | | "I think they should keep the old ways because the neighborhood is overcrowded. There's not enough trees or parks or backyards - places for our kids to play. It makes no sense to build any more."
- Sheila Mathews, Canarsie

 | | "I believe there should be less - less of the high risers that they are building. There's less parking because of it. It's not what it used to be. Canarsie used to be a friendly neighborhood. You could leave your door open. Now, you don't even know your next door neighbor. If it changed back, I'd move back to Canarsie."
- Connie Robeck, Bergen Beach

 | | "Yeah, there should be more development because we can use it - especially in this neighborhood. Definitely need more housing, parks and recreational facilities. There's nothing going on around here on Rockaway Parkway."
- Dan Williams, East New York
