Canoe Club Open House: A Taste Of The Good Life

Kayakers set out on Jamaica Bay from Sebago Canoe Club.

With the weather cooperating perfectly, the Sebago Canoe Club, 1400 Paerdegat Avenue North, took the opportunity to show off their magnificent facility last Sat-urday as they staged their Open House for the community.

Consisting of not only the traditional canoeing, the event featured demonstrations of sailing, kayaking and rowing, allowing some to even test themselves on kayaks. A tour of the charming facility was also part of the event.
