The above convergence of cops' cars occurred Tuesday at about 10 a.m. at the corner of Avenue L and Rockaway Parkway, leading most people to think there was a bank robbery, right? There were the police cars, a crowd in front of the bank - even an alleged "perp" in one of the cars, right? Wrong! The 69th Precinct officers merely picked up a guy on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. Believe it, folks. Crime is down! Charles Rogers
