In celebration of National Nursing Home Week, health-related facilities across the state hosted a number of events to recognize staffers and seniors alike for the contributions they've made to society in general. At Four Seasons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, officials decided they'd give their guests a taste of the Atlantic City...or Las Vegas casino life (take your choice) and everyone came out a winner!
Health and nursing home facilities throughout the state have gone through a number of changes in recent years, moving away from the traditional hospital settings to resident-centered environments with newer technologies and techniques being employed. The process includes not only more frequent family visits, but the use of top-flight professionals, from doctors to nurses to therapists and other experts.
