Every student at P.S. 276 was a scientist during the school's annual science fair last Tuesday.
Students experimented with materials such as foods, drinks, cleaning products and natural re-sources. While some students randomly selected a project from a list, others got ideas from every day activities.
"I was hungry, so I had popcorn," said fifth grader Lindon House. "Then I came up with a project idea - what ingredients make the best popcorn. By surveying my classmates and using different popcorn, I found that extra butter and cheese make the best tasting popcorn."
