Crime Stoppers Offers Reward For Finding Killer
The body of the 21-year-old honors student was found in the driver's seat of his 2002 Infiniti with the motor running and his seat belt on and a single gunshot wound to the head, police said. The shooter apparently spotted Duncan driving north on East 103rd Street, shot him and the victim swerved to the right into a community driveway where he struck an abatement. Witnesses ran to the vehicle to see Duncan slumped over the wheel. One report said witnesses told police that three men were spotted running from the scene immediately after the shooting. When police arrived, they saw to it that he was brought to the hospital by Emergency Medical Service ambulance. The victim was pronounced dead by emergency room doctors, however. A funeral was held in Canarsie for the well-liked, popular youth at St. Alban's Church on Farragut Road.
