Driver Dies In Belt Parkway Accident
Police from the NYPD's Highway Unit check out the damaged car that struck a guard rail and overturned shortly after midnight Monday in the eastbound side of the Belt Parkway, east of the Mill Basin drawbridge. The 28-year-old driver was killed, officials said, when he was thrown from the vehicle, while his passenger, 25, suffered multiple injuries and was able to crawl out of the vehicle.
