Bikers Honored For Israeli Charity Ride
Eight cyclists from Chicago, Brooklyn and Queens, were honored at a Kingsborough Community College ceremony on Tuesday for their contributions to a hospital for Palestinian and Israeli children in Jerusalem. The cyclists participated in a five-day bike ride in one of Israel's largest annual sporting events that takes place every October and covers over 300 miles. Last fall's event raised over $2 million.
