HES Winter Festival Delights Local Children Once Again

Scores of children and their parents enjoyed a special day last Sunday at the Hebrew Educational Society's annual Children's Winter Festival.

The spectacular event at 9502 Seaview Avenue included a petting zoo, where kids of all ages could learn about a variety of animals, and a Mad Scientist show about fire and ice. Kids were dazzled when they learned about foggy dry ice storms and gravity-defying beach balls.

Children were also invited to some crazy workshops where they made their own Ghostbusters slime, burp potion and "soda pop."

The HES always hosts fun - yet educational - events that are enjoyable for the entire family. Call 718- 241-3000 to find out more about their exciting facilities.
