What's Your Opinion?

Question: Should FireFighters be allowed to have anything other than American flags on their lockers? Why?

"If the city gives them the authority to use lockers, then they can use them anyway they want. But you have to remember it's a privilege as long as they don't abuse it." -Abobaker Mused, Canarsie
"There's a big controversy about that. One is their life is on the line every day, so why not have something there that puts a smile on their face before they hit the streets. That's how Isee it." -George Fernandez, Canarsie
"Yeah, I think so. It's a personal choice. It's their personal space to use the way they want, especially if what they put on their lockers isn't offensive to anyone." -Richard Cardichon, Canarsie
"Yeah, they could have a lot of things on their lockers. Pictures of loved ones, pictures of their brethren in the fire department - especially if it's related to 9/11. They could have sports pictures. Just nothing that would be upsetting." -Wesley Harris, Canarsie
