Scholarships Open To Tri-State Graduating High School Seniors Ronald McDonald House Charities of the New York tri-state Area (RMHC-NYTSA) is offering scholarships to deserving graduating seniors from local communities with limited access to educational and career opportunities. The scholarship initiative is a part of the ongoing commitment of RMHC and McDonalds restaurants to support advanced education to gifted students with scarce resources. The deadline for submissions is February 15, 2007. Students of all backgrounds are eligible to apply for the scholarship in various categories including: RMHC/Asian-Pacific Students (RMHC/ASIA), RMHC/African American Future Achievers Scholarship, RMHC/Hispanic American Commitment to Educational Resources (RMHC/HACER) and RMHC General Scholarship. Students from any background may apply to the RMHC General Scholarship. Each applicant may apply to only one category. Eligible applicants must be graduating seniors that are currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year college or university. Applications are being distributed to all New York tri-state area high schools and may also be downloaded by visiting www.mcdonaldsnymetro.com.
