He made history as the franchise's first manager during an inaugural campaign that brought baseball back to Brooklyn, and produced a dominant 55-25 record - still a club best.

      In their first meeting of the season against Boys & Girls High School at home last month, South Shore High School boy's varsity basketball team came back from a 10-point deficit to pull to within a point with 48 seconds remaining in the game. But, a missed three pointer in the final seconds ended the comeback, as the Vikings lost to the Kangaroos, 56-53.
